Secure Data Transfer and Storage

All information you provide is securely transmitted using HTTPS encryption, ensuring it’s protected while in transit between your device and our systems. Once received, your data is stored following industry-standard best practices, ensuring ongoing security and confidentiality.

Secure Payment Processing

When you enter your payment details, they are securely transmitted to our trusted payment gateway provider, Ingenico. Ingenico generates a secure token that we store safely for future bookings. This means:

• Your actual card details (e.g., card number, name) are never stored by Eurotunnel Le Shuttle.

• All card data is stored in Ingenico’s PCI-compliant external card vault, which meets strict industry standards for handling payment information.

• For security reasons, you will still need to enter your card’s CVC number each time you use a stored card to make a booking.

Protecting Your Account

To further protect your account, we strongly recommend enabling Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). This adds an extra layer of security by requiring a second form of identification when you log in.
We also encourage you to set a Recovery Email Address to help you regain access to your account if you ever forget your password or lose access to your primary email.
