In most cases, yes—you can buy a ticket upon arrival. However, during peak travel times, service disruptions, or periods of degraded service, we may need to restrict ticket purchases at check-in.
To avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend booking your ticket in advance. Not only does this guarantee your travel plans, but booking early can also save you money, as fares are often cheaper the further in advance you book.
Before you travel, we suggest checking our Latest Travel Information page page. This will provide up-to-date details on any restrictions or changes that may affect your ability to purchase tickets at check-in.
Will the Price Be the Same as the Online Price?
Ticket prices on the day of travel are the same whether you book online, through our contact centre, or at check-in. However, please note that prices are calculated in the local currency: GBP for purchases made at our UK check-in and EUR for purchases made at our French check-in.
As we do not use a fluctuating exchange rate, the price you pay in person may differ slightly from what you’ve seen online or been quoted by our contact centre. This could mean the final ticket cost is either slightly higher or lower, depending on the current exchange rate.
